Join us for a supportive 10-week program where we explore creativity through nature-inspired art, sustainable crafts, and mindful wellbeing. At JANGO, we believe in the healing power of the natural world. Our sessions focus on sustainable, nature-based art, using earth-friendly materials and treasures found in our environment to create beautiful, meaningful keepsakes. This gentle, eco-conscious approach creates a calm, sensory-rich space for every participant.

Designed for those who love creativity but benefit from a slower, sensory-aware pace, JANGO uses art to foster emotional wellbeing, confidence, and social bonds.
Your Pace, Your Way:
- You are welcome to chat while creating, work in quiet focus, take breaks, or simply observe. All engagement styles are respected.
Flexible Structure:
- Sessions are structured yet adaptable to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Our Mission:
- To meet every participant exactly where they are, creatively, physically, and emotionally while encouraging individualized skill development at a comfortable, supportive pace.
Program Details
- Schedule: Dates, times, and venue locations are currently being finalized based on participant preferences. We will confirm these details with you upon registration.
- Support: The program is delivered in a small group setting with a supportive 1:3 ratio, ensuring personalized attention for every participant. Participants are welcome to bring their own 1:1 support worker to the program. There is no additional cost to the participant for the support worker’s attendance.
- Costs: There are no out-of-pocket costs for participants. All sustainable materials, tools, and light snacks are provided.
- NDIS Funding: Claimed under Core Supports – Assistance with Social and Community Participation (Category 04), plus standard Centre Capital Costs.
- Transport: Optional pick-up and drop-off available (Activity-Based Transport, quoted individually).

- Focusing on touch-based crafts like macrame, beadwork, and textured mosaics

- Using nature as our canvas to paint and pattern onto leaves, bark, and rocks.
Gifts & Keepsakes
- Creating thoughtful items like stitched paper cards and rustic nature frames.
The Forest Canopy
- Building large-scale group mandalas, nature collages, and moving mobiles.
